Title: 5G Resident Engineer (Cloud/ Wind River)

Location: Remote

Length of contract: 12 months

Responsibilities:

Resident Engineers shall focus upon accelerating customer's deployments (950 1,200 sites total) and shall be responsible for focusing upon the following:

• Perform an operational assessment of the current private 5G solution
• Develop hardware and firmware validation and production readiness plan
• Implementation of WRA Monitoring on sub-clouds i.e., Kafka enablement
• Construct Wind River Cloud Platform implementation blueprint from current Wind River Cloud Platform implementation
• Provide written outline of recommended configuration
• Private 5G site instantiation
• Upgrade existing controllers and sub-clouds to recommended WRCP 21.05 patch.
• Install and home sub-clouds to a system controller
• Install and configure Wind River Analytics, OIDC, and Certificate Management
• Development and implementation process/playbook to prepare systems for application orchestration ready.
• Corning re-validation support
• Support Corning lab setup with WRCP 21.05 P4 installation and support
• Provide support for Corning vCU application verification on the sub-cloud
• Investigate Automation requirements for scale deployment
• Deliver written plan outlining recommendations
