We have the following position available in Knightdale, North Carolina: Application Marketer: What do you get to do in this position? Gather information to determine potential strategy for Motor Controls marketing in line with division initiatives 15%. Develop the product application roadmap for motor products for NAM Hub within key segments such as water, wastewater, oil & gas, metal mining & minerals 15%. Identify value propositions and product roadmap for key applications such as pumping, conveying, and HVAC 10%. Identify the concept within the requirements and constraints of the functionalities of the solution/application under scrutiny 10%. Recommend and develop a competitive solution and recommend system implementation which optimally meets the customer needs & requirements 10%. Work closely with marketing, technical, & commercial teams of country organizations to understand the needs of the specific market 10%. Support a business case and get validation for future offers 15%. Partner with marketing team on offer creation process 5%. Share NAM Hub strategy and roadmap 5%. Actively contribute to best practice sharing 5%. 25% of travel is required in North America Countries Qualifications: We know skills and competencies show up in many different ways and can be based on your life experience. This job might be for you if: REQUIREMENTS: This position requires 10 years of work experience in Automation and Electrical Distribution Marketing and Management. Must have work experience with: (1). Marketing and strategy of IEC & NEMA low voltage products and control systems; (2). Multi-cultural environment and collaborating with cross functional teams in the matrix organization; (3). Developing new architecture for control systems for key applications including pumping, conveying and HVAC; (4). Transactional and solution business model; (5). Building the control architecture for key segments including Water, Wastewater, Oil & Gas, and Metal Mining and Minerals; (6). Working with multiple countries and matrix organization; (7). Partnering and collaborating with direct or indirect teams; (8). Designing control panels; and (9). Industrial fieldbus systems (Ethernet IP, DeviceNet, Modbus, Profibus, and Profinet).
