Position Summary:

This position is located in the Bunge North America soybean processing plant in Decatur, IN. The Edible Oil Operator is responsible for safely and accurately loading trucks and rail cars, and operating the hydrogenation, EIE, bleaching, deodorization, and blending processes. Must be willing to work weekends, holidays and 2nd / 3rd shift. This position works a 12-hour shift (4 on 4 off) schedule, 7pm-7am and covers other employees' vacations on all shifts. Excellent benefits that start on Day 1. Starting pay is $24.33, pay rate after 30 working days increases to $26.17. Come join a team that puts safety first every day!

Core Functions:

Load and unload trucks and rail cars
Transfer oil to the packaging plant and obtain samples
Wash rail cars
Monitor gas plant and nitrogen buildings
Perform department sanitation duties
Monitor processes and make adjustments as needed
Clean and change filters
Monitor and record process conditions on log sheets
Follow all safety policies and procedures
Follow Good Manufacturing Practices

Skill/Experience Requirements:

High School Diploma / GED preferred
Previous experience in an industrial environment preferred
Ability to work safely and follow policies and procedures
Basic computer and mechanical skills
Must be able to work at heights and in confined spaces
Good communication skills
Ability to work in a team environment
Willing to work overtime and flexible hours
Must be able to work weekends and holidays
Must be able to work 2nd / 3rd shift
Good attendance
