As a Senior Operations Engineer, you will fully support the business strategy of the company and the corporate initiative while achieving safety and environmental goals. You will also fully support employee and team development and achieve strategic and tactical plan objectives.

You should have a Bachelor's of Science degree in Engineering discipline or similar operations experience for oil and gas operations along with 4-8 years of related experience.

Job Requirements:


  • Monitor and maintain surveillance of wells and operation activities for oil and gas operations
  • Be a team member in the process of evaluating and implementing workover opportunities, facility modifications and capital projects.
  • Develop AFEs and providing technical input and following daily reports
  • Production operations optimization. Provide operational assistance in identifying opportunities and improvements to increase production, reduce operating costs, improve safety and resolve operating problems.
  • Prepare bid proposals and assessing responses. Contract preparations and negotiations. Leverage technology for competitive advantage.
  • Understand principles of: Critical properties of reservoir rocks, Fluid (oil, water, and gas) PVT relationships, methods to calculate hydrocarbons initially in place, dynamic techniques to assess recoverable hydrocarbons. Parameters that impact well/reservoir performance over time. Well testing principles and techniques.
  • Reservoir drive mechanisms for both oil and gas reservoirs.
  • Oil and gas field development planning principles. Enhanced oil recovery processes. Reservoir evaluation, simulation processing, and drilling operations procedures and functions.
  • Facility preventative maintenance scheduling and documentation of rotating equipment and failures and evaluations
  • Track operation and capital expenses for budgeting, comparing, and achieving tactical goals
