Job Description SummaryJob DescriptionJob DescriptionThe Lean Coach will manage the coaching initiative within all of Gas Power and assist with coaching support as needed to help leaders to build the skills required to meet the business leadership behaviors and gain the knowledge to be able to lead in a lean environment. Be the VOC & VOP for the Corporate KPO and drive alignment with the Lean Community on the coaching initiative.Essential Responsibilities:* Work with Gas Power Learning Organization to ensure all Coachee's are identified & what are their key focus areas are.* Coach individuals at all levels to include leadership and lean development skills* Recruit coach candidates, work with HR/learning Org & KPO Community to ID talent* Lead and monitor new coach development* Monitor and maintain the coach capacity & capability file* Work with Learning Org, HR and KPO Community to align coaches to coachee's* Develop and maintain Lean & behaviors coach calibration resources* Monitor and maintain the coach progress, then move forward when all requirements are green* Ensure sufficient calibration coach support within Gas Power and corporate* Effectively assist and communicate with the corporate KPO to be the Gas Power VOP/VOC and keep the Lean Community & Coach Community up to date* Monitor and elevate as needed the coaching progress & report in system, maintain monthly KPI's* Keep coach learning materials up to date* Update the coaches on a regular basis on any process and expectation changes* Maintain a coach portal that holds important links and sample materials that will expedite and align the coaching experience (such as: virtual training by topic, common documents and Kaizen Events Calendar)* Periodically gather feedback on the coaches and coaching process, then build a plan to improve* Build your own LDP (Leadership Development Plan) to continue to build your skills* Participate in multiple events as a lead, coach or facilitator to continue build Kaizen muscle* Must be able to multi-task, manage projects, and work independently in fast-paced environment* Maintain the lean materials and Gas Power KPO/Coaching Boxes with links to keep most current material available to the Lean Community* Ability to be flexible to assist where needed within the KPO CommunityQualifications:* Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma /GED or equivalent experience with significant years of experience in Manufacturing)* Strong project management skillsDesired Characteristics:* Ability to develop and motivate a team without dotted or solid line responsibility* Coaching Certification* Strong oral and written communication skills* Strong interpersonal and leadership skills* Strong organizational skills* Change agent with strong credibility and influence in the organization* Demonstrated commitment for process improvement with proven results* Self-motivated with excellent time management skills* Lean TrainingAdditional InformationGE offers a great work environment, professional development, challenging careers, and competitive compensation.
