What You'll Do at Enel:: This position is responsible for supporting the North America Wind Operations and Maintenance team in the development and execution of technical training and knowledge management. This position will support renewable energy development, construction and operations, maintenance, office, and fleet activities, and will report directly to the Director, Maintenance and Technical Support. Who You Are:: Responsibilities include, but not limited to: Responsible for building and executing the O&M technical training program with the goal of building a foundation of the companies Health, Safety, Environment and Quality (HSEQ) values and programs. This includes but is not limited to, creating technical training matrix for all technician and manager levels, developing training curriculum and training material, establishing course structure, providing qualification and certification guidelines. Maintenance, development and implementation of O&M manual, programs, compliance plans, and initiatives focused around company Safety & Environment values, goals, objectives, and various regulations including NFPA70E, OHSAS 18001, ISO 14001 and ISO 9001. Support team by building annual training plans including annual training budget costs Manage the knowledge management process for Wind sites. Knowledge management entails the management of documentation creation, the review and sign off process and management of the online knowledge management tool. Follows current trends and emerging innovations in training delivery; researches, evaluates, recommends, and provides recommendations on new formats and technologies to enhance effectiveness. Attends train-the-trainer programs to learn new training material and content as required. Conduct hands on specialized training and train-the-trainer training including WTG LOTO, Qualified Electrical Worker, Converter/pitch system/hydraulic system troubleshooting, SCADA systems usage, CMS systems diagnostics and repair, Substation Switching, Preventative maintenance activities. Administration of recording training completions and refresher due dates Developing and provide training materials for Wind O&M procedural documents. Coordination with the HSEQ, O&M and Technical Support teams and key customers to develop training plan and content based on risk assessments and business needs. Manage procurement and contracts for training vendors. Acts with integrity in all matters to maintain compliance and excellence Special Projects as required including coordination of and/or participate in various company initiatives. Contribute to the overall needs and objectives of the unit and company. Maintain data integrity within all data systems, including SAP, eDucation and other What You've Accomplished:: REQUIREMENTS Bachelor of Science degree in a relevant field OR Associate degree in Wind Energy Technology or related field with 5+ years industry experience Minimum of 3-5 years of related industry technical training experience Thorough knowledge of applicable regulations, practices, and computer skills such as MS Office and Learning Management Systems Shown experience in creating and delivering classroom and field instructionStrong initiative and drive for high achievement and continuous improvement approachDemonstrated ability to be a team player with passion, drive and the ability to self-startAbility to influenceAvailability for local, domestic, and international travel; up to 50% Experience working within safety management systems/quality systems and document management systems. SAP knowledge is a plus Superior oral and written communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills required Comfortable working at heights of 300 feet or more and the ability to perform essential physical functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation; this includes working in scissor lifts, lifting 50 lbs. meeting the weight requirement of safety gear, 310 lbs. or less., and working in PPE such as arc flash suits/facemasks and high voltage gloves for extended periods of time.
