Summary: This position maintains gas meters, regulators and relief valves, RTU & SCADA equipment and related communication equipment, valves and valve operators, gas filters, and auxiliary equipment such as electrical generators in a manner to meet operational needs in compliance with partnership and regulatory requirements. Essential duties and responsibilities:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily. The essential job duties for this position are listed below: Install, commission, inspect, troubleshoot, repair, calibrate, and maintain all gas measurement equipment including but not limited to: Dry flow recorders, EFM's, USM's, samplers, orifice plates, and meter tubes. Ensure all gas measurement and related equipment is operating at peak efficiency. Install, commission, inspect, troubleshoot, repair, calibrate, and maintain all gas quality equipment including gas chromatographs, O2 analyzers, H2S analyzers, H2O analyzers, and composite samplers. Perform spot sampling and associated witnessing of custody transfer meters Actively support Health, Environment, and Safety processes by accomplishing daily activities within applicable regulations and policies, carrying out duties in an environmentally conscious manner, following safe operating practices, maintaining a safe working environment. Prepare accurate reports and records of work performed. Work independently with minimal supervision. Other duties as assigned. Required Education: High school diploma or GED. Required experience is commensurate with the selected job level: Level C requires a minimum of 0 - 2 years of relevant experience in a midstream operations role or equivalent work experience. Level B requires a minimum of 2 - 4 years of relevant experience in a midstream operations role or equivalent work experience. Level A requires a minimum of 4+ years of relevant experience in a midstream operations role or equivalent work experience. Required Qualifications: Detailed knowledge of applicable EPA, DOT, RRC, OSHA, NEC, AGA, API and GPA requirements and procedures. Work independently with minimal supervision. Excellent communication skills to interface with customer base. Preferred Qualifications: PC skills including proficiency with Microsoft Word, Access, and Excel. Some college or technical trade school is preferred. Working Conditions: The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. Lifting up to 50 lbs occasionally. Driving, walking, standing frequently. Exposure to adverse weather, cramped conditions and some heavy lifting Visits to industrial/manufacturing settings, which may include exposure to various materials and chemicals, as well as extreme temperature conditions and loud machinery, and require appropriate personal protective equipment. Occasional overnight travel may be required.
