Join us as we continue to power the industry that powers the world.NOV Rig Technologies is looking for a PPC Analyst to join our team at our 5100 N Sam Houston Pkwy W facility to plan, schedule and release purchased parts and assemblies in accordance with operating guidelines while supporting company objectives regarding inventory, sales volume, product cost, scheduling, timely delivery, and customer requirements.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES* Interpret bill of material, scopes, and specifications for customers' orders to determine the content, and plan manageable work elements.* Review and release work orders according to system demand, manage the system-recommended messages, and maintain work order dates that adhere to metrics for the organization.* Develop and provide input to repair build plan.* Contribute to cost and lead time reduction efforts by actively seeking and reporting opportunities for improvement.* Approve, release, and monitor status of production and purchase requisitions.* Schedule, expedite, and coordinate the delivery and movement of critical material.* Create rework work orders as per the requirement in a timely fashion.* Periodically review non-conformances and engineering changes to rework any work orders as required.* Regularly update work order due dates based on fluctuations of in-house capacity and the delivery schedules from vendors.* Keep Planning Manager aware of applicable changes that would affect the lead time of the part so that the system can be kept up to date.* Perform other work-related tasks as assigned.* Comply with all NOV Company and HSE policies and procedures.EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS* High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent* 3-5 years' experience preferable in:* Manufacturing environment* Planning* Project Management* Technical or Associates degree desirableBEHAVIORAL COMPETENCIES* Team Player* Communication SkillsTECHNICAL COMPETENCIES* ERP experience (Oracle, SAP)* Microsoft Office Suite - must have intermediate Excel skills* Ability to interpret blueprints/schematics* Oil and Gas technical knowledge preferred
