Blossman Gas, America's largest independent propane company has a tremendous opportunity in Asheville, NC for a dynamic Business Development / Relationship Manager for our growing AutoGas business segment.

AutoGas (propane) is a plentiful, domestically-produced, 'green' burning fuel of choice for fleet usage worldwide. Blossman Gas is a lead company in Alliance AutoGas, America's choice provider of alternative fuel for fleet vehicles here domestically. The selected candidate will be Blossman Gas' primary point-of-contact for our Alliance AutoGas partners.

Our chosen Relationship Manager will be responsible for gaining a deep understanding of AutoGas market intelligence and serve as the company's primary point-of-contact for our Alliance AutoGas partners and Blossman company representatives.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Ensure AutoGas Sales Professionals--both internally and externally--are supported with coordination of events, information, and materials on a regular basis
  • Maintain up-to-date materials in our online catalog of resources
  • Track market sales trends and alternative fuel grants for the fleet and alternative fuel industries and communicate this market intelligence to stakeholders
  • Organize training events and curriculum
  • Annual surveys
  • Regular communication with all stakeholders by telephone, email, and on-site visits
  • Manage online and telephone inquiries
  • Create a quarterly, internal newsletter
  • Manage all associations and memberships
  • Social media and blog content creation
  • Maintain accurate data on the Alliance AutoGas website and assist with content updates as needed
  • Be dynamic, flexible to change, timely, and team-oriented

Preferred qualifications:

1. Possess a Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, Management, Marketing, or other related field

2. Possess 3-5 years of client relationship experience; prior experience opening doors in an alternative fuel or energy background helpful

3. Strong business Communication and interpersonal skills

4. Proficiency with MS Office

5. Ability to manage multiple projects and customer requests

6. Desire to live and work on-site in the Asheville, NC area

7. Successfully pass pre-employment background and drug screening
